El pasado jueves 5 de octubre se realizó en el colegio la edición 2023 de la Feria de Universidades organizada por Orientar Educativa, de la que participaron todas las escuelas de Pinamar y alrededores. Dirigido a estudiantes de los últimos dos años del secundario, este evento busca brindar a los jóvenes todas las herramientas necesarias para su futuro educativo y profesional.
La actividad comenzó con un Taller de Orientación Vocacional a cargo de una psicóloga de la Universidad Católica Argentina que aportó algunos consejos a tener en cuenta a la hora de optar por una carrera. Luego, los chicos asistieron a una charla cuyo eje temático fue Mi primer empleo donde aprendieron cómo hacer su primer currículum. Además, a partir de un simulacro protagonizado por los propios estudiantes, practicaron cómo desenvolverse en una entrevista laboral.
Por último, participaron de la feria al aire libre, recorriendo los distintos stands de las universidades públicas y privadas que nos visitaron. De esta manera, cada institución educativa de nivel superior pudo informar y asesorar sobre las carreras y cursos que dictan, acercando a los alumnos a la gran variedad de oferta académica que tenemos en el país.
Estamos muy contentos de haber podido generar este espacio para que nuestros alumnos comiencen a interiorizarse sobre las propuestas de las distintas instituciones y de poder acompañarlos con más y mejores herramientas en esta ardua transición entre la escuela secundaria y la educación superior.

University Fair at Tierra del Sur
Last Thursday, October 5, the 2023 edition of the University Fair organized by Orientar Educativa was held at our school, where all schools from Pinamar and surrounding areas participated. This event is meant for students in the last two years of high school and aims to provide young people with all the necessary tools for their educational and professional future.
The activity began with a Vocational Orientation Workshop given by a psychologist from the Universidad Católica Argentina, who gave some advice to take into account when choosing a career. Then, the children attended a talk on the subject of My First Job, where they learned how to write their first résumé. In addition, they practiced how to handle a job interview by means of a role play performed by the students themselves. Finally, they visited the outdoor fair, touring the different stands of the public and private universities that visited us. This way, each higher education institution was able to inform and advise on the careers and courses they offer, bringing students closer to the wide variety of academic programs we have in our country.
We are very pleased to have been able to provide this space for our students to begin to learn about the options offered by the different institutions and to be able to support them with more and better tools in this arduous transition between high school and higher education.
