¡Recibimos la primavera sobre ruedas! Los chicos de Nivel Inicial trajeron al colegio sus bicis, triciclos, monopatines, patacletas y patapatas y, entre todos, los decoramos con flores, globos, stickers, dibujos y cintas de colores. Luego, disfrutamos de un picnic de primavera con cosas ricas que los chicos trajeron de casa.
Además de los festejos de primavera, el mes de septiembre estuvo repleto de actividades muy divertidas y didácticas. Algunas de ellas fueron:
Sala monos
Siguiendo uno de los ejes institucionales más importantes para el colegio, la literatura, este mes en Sala Monos continuamos con el proyecto Vení que te cuento, escuchamos Goldilocks and the three bears en inglés y compartimos una actividad con sala de 2 llamada Poesía mojada. El arte plástico también tuvo su lugar: finalizamos nuestro mural “Monstruo Ojotes”, que próximamente podrán visitar en nuestra galería, exploramos la técnica de desteñido con papel crepe y dibujamos flores sobre diario.
Además, comenzamos un nuevo proyecto: “Explorando las aves de nuestra ciudad”. A partir del conocimiento de aves locales y sus características, como formas de locomoción, hábitos de alimentación y construcción de nidos, fomentamos la conexión de los chicos con el ambiente y la curiosidad por el mundo que los rodea. Buscamos información en libros y visualizamos videos, ilustraciones y ¡hasta un nido! Con ayuda de largavistas creados con nuestras propias manos exploramos el jardín, levantamos la vista al cielo y estuvimos atentos a los árboles, donde descubrimos algunas aves. Luego registramos por medio del dibujo lo observado. Mirar y disfrutar de la naturaleza es una oportunidad para aprender a respetarla, valorarla y preservarla. Los invitamos a continuar con la observación de aves junto a sus hijos en su tiempo libre.
Sala osos
Los osos jugamos a ser astronautas. Primero escribimos cuales eran nuestros saberes previos y luego anotamos qué cosas necesitábamos para jugar y armar nuestro espacio lúdico. Por último, con los elementos que encontramos en la sala armamos mini cohetes.
A través de la técnica escritura por copiado practicamos escribir nuestro nombre. Realizamos fondo con acuarelas y plasmamos con marcadores la figura humana. Continuamos con el proyecto Descubriendo y jugando con retratos, esta vez fue el turno de los ilustradores Pablo Bernasconi y Hanoch Piven. A partir del contacto con variados tipos de retratos y formas de manifestación artística los chicos tuvieron la posibilidad, no sólo de apreciar diferentes obras de arte, sino también de expresarse a través de producciones y lenguajes diversos.

Spring season in Tierra del Sur
We welcomed Spring on wheels! Our Kindergarten children brought their bikes, tricycles, skateboards, and scooters to school and, together, we decorated them with flowers, balloons, stickers, drawings and colorful ribbons. Afterwards, we enjoyed a spring picnic with goodies that the kids brought from home.
In addition to the spring festivities, September was full of fun and educational activities. Some of them were:
Monkeys
Following one of the most important institutional pillars for the school, literature, this month in Sala Monos we continued with the project Vení que te cuento, we listened to Goldilocks and the three bears in English and we shared an activity with Sala de 2 called Poesía mojada (Wet Poetry). Visual arts also had its place: we finished our mural «Monstruo Ojotes», which you will soon be able to visit in our gallery, we explored the technique of fading with crepe paper and we drew flowers on newspaper.
In addition, we started a new project: «Exploring the birds of our city». From the knowledge of local birds and their characteristics, such as forms of locomotion, feeding habits and nest building, we encourage children’s connection with the environment and curiosity about the world around them. We searched for information in books and visualized videos, illustrations and even a nest! With the help of handmade binoculars we explored the garden, looked up at the sky and kept an eye on the trees, where we discovered some birds. Then we recorded what we observed by means of a drawing. Looking at and enjoying nature is an opportunity to learn to respect, value and preserve it. Bears
The bears played to be astronauts. First we wrote down what our previous knowledge was and then we listed the things we needed to set up our play space. Finally, with the elements we found in the room we built mini rockets. Using the technique of writing by copying, we practiced writing our name. We made a background with watercolors and we painted the human figure with markers.
We continued with the project Discovering and playing with portraits, this time it was the turn of illustrators Pablo Bernasconi and Hanoch Piven. Through contact with different types of portraits and artistic manifestations, the children had the opportunity not only to appreciate different works of art, but also to express themselves through diverse productions and languages.
